TIMS self-referral is only available to patients registered with a Newcastle or Gateshead GP practice.

Please review the self-care guidance on our website before considering a self-referral. To self-refer, click on the self-referral tab at the bottom of the relevant self-help section on the Home page.

How to contact us – About your referral

If you need support with making your referral, or have a query about your first appointment with TIMS, please contact our booking team on 0191 445 2643.

If you are a current TIMS patient and have a query about your follow-up appointment please contact our local admin team on 0191 213 8800.

If you have any feedback about the care you receive from TIMS you can contact the service directly or seek the advice and support of the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).

If you would like to contact the service directly to provide feedback please contact us via nuth.tims@nhs.net or on 0191 213 8800. If you would like The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) to contact the service on your behalf you can contact PALS on 0800 032 0202.
